Longball Open Expands to Manitoba
Manitoba, Canada – September 27, 2018 - Longball Athletics (www.longball.com) is excited to announce that the Longball Open in support of KidSport is expanding to Manitoba with the first annual MB Longball Open being held June 27 & 28 in 2019.
The Longball Open, originating in Alberta, is an action packed 2-day lifestyle event that includes opportunities to tee it up with friends and local celebrities at one of the top courses in the province. The first LB Open was held in 2010 and the event has helped raise money and awareness for the Alberta chapter of KidSport. The 2-person scramble tournament is focused around living the Longball lifestyle, having fun, and enjoying time on and off the course with friends and family while supporting and giving back to the community.
“With community involvement being a large component and focus towards growing the Longball brand, we are excited to expand the Longball Open to Manitoba and support the Manitoba chapter of KidSport” said Joshua Zaporzan, the newly appointed CEO and Co-Owner of Longball Athletics. “The tournament is a lot of fun and offers everyone the opportunity to meet new friends and a chance to give back to the local community” Zaporzan said.
The first annual MB Longball Open will be held at the Clear Lake Golf Course in Riding Mountain National Park. “We believe that Clear Lake is the perfect area to host a lifestyle event like this” says Zaporzan. This 2-day epic event will attract local celebrities and will provide a pre-game mixer the night before, buffet breakfast the morning of the tournament, a 2-man scramble golf tournament with dinner and entertainment following the round at the post game celebration.
Early bird registration for the event opens October 1, offering the first 25 teams who register a $50 savings. For more information, to register for the event or learn about sponsorship opportunities, visit the event website www.mblongballopen.com.
